Privacy

What this site stores.

WordPress stores your account details and session information. Deals.org stores watches, circle memberships, shared links, buying requests, alert preferences, and in-app matches you choose to create.

Private by default.

Watchlists and requests are tied to your account. Circle links and content are visible to circle members. Invite links allow joining until they expire or are revoked; share them only with people you trust.

Product images and merchant links.

Product images load through Fazy’s image service. Your browser connects to that service when loading an image. Merchant and affiliate links can lead through tracking services when you choose to visit them. Their privacy policies govern those visits.

Your choices.

Joining does not subscribe you to email or SMS marketing. Requested price alerts send your selected contact and message to the connected delivery provider. Text alerts require consent and phone verification; you can revoke them in Alert Preferences or reply STOP. Contact books, precise location, screenshots, and receipts are not collected by the current features. Your private watchlist and circle data are not sent to Fazy for catalog refreshes.

Access and deletion.

Signed-in members can download their Deals.org data or delete it in Account Settings. WordPress also provides verified personal-data export and erasure tools. Contact the site administrator for full account deletion and questions about hosting logs or backups.

Launch policy status.

This page explains the current implementation. Operator identity, privacy contact, jurisdiction, retention schedule, and the full production policy require completion by the site operator before a public membership launch.

AI shopping conversations

When you use the signed-in shopping assistant, your shopping text and structured product requirements are sent to OpenAI. Do not enter personal, payment, or confidential details. Account contacts, private watches and circles are not sent to the model. Temporary conversations expire after 30 minutes of inactivity and at most 24 hours, and are included in your Deals.org data export and erasure. Requests disable provider response storage; provider abuse-monitoring policies can still apply. Selected product images are reduced to fresh pixels, processed privately for the request, and never stored in the public media library or conversation. Aggregate first-party activity counts are retained for 90 days and used for the weekly owner summary; no search text, image data or contact details are included. Browser activity counts honor supported Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control signals. The assistant uses catalog records for recommendations and saves watches only after your explicit review and confirmation.
